How do I add or change the site icon (favicon)?

The recommended site icon (favicon) size for the MercuryLite theme is 512×512 px.

  1. Go to Appearance – Customize – Site Identity.
  2. Click the Select Site Icon area and proceed to upload the image.
  3. After uploading, please click the Select button in the bottom right corner.
  4. To finish, please click the Publish button.

You can also upload a site icon (favicon) in the Settings – General section of your WordPress website.
